AI Covid officer courses

In response to the difficulties which Covid19 has created, giving the necessary restrictions on sport, to reduce the spread of infection; AI started a programme of clubs putting forward Club Covid Officers. In order to equip these club covid officers with the tools and information required to fulfill their role in their club, AI is offering training, at the times listed below.

Saturday 12th September 11.00
Monday 14th September 19.00
Thursday 17th September 19.00

Each course would be for a max 10 people.

Each club officer should attend an online training workshop, where archery specific information will be available. The workshop should take approximately two hours, it will be helped if attendees have already taken the Sport Ireland Online Covid Induction, parts A and B. The training will cover risk assessment and workshopping ideas around getting clubs training and competing again, and reacting to new guidelines as they emerge.

The outcome of the workshops should be a good knowledge base, allowing each club covid officer to make informed decisions, and create a network of club covid officers who can support each other, and share ideas, as the various stages of re-opening happen over the coming months.

The courses can be booked via the new GoMembership membership system. To book your place on a course, please login to the Membership system at the following link.
