Club Grant Schemes part of Club development Plan 2014
As part of the Club development Plan 2014 the Archery Ireland Executive will be continuing the club grants scheme which is designed to aid clubs in developing participation in the sport. The Schemes for this year are listed below. Closing date for the Club beginner schemes and the Club Bow rental scheme will be the 21st of March 2014. The schemes are limited so insure to get yours sent in as soon as possible and to fill the form out properly to secure the scheme.
Only clubs that have attended the club development workshops or committed to attend the next workshop will be eligible for grants.
Small Club beginner scheme 2013 (closing date (closing date 21st March)
2 grants available
Objective: Increase beginners in a club by 20% (minimum 12 people)
Cost: 100 (which will be refunded on proof of success)
What you receive: 1 egertech/foam butt, 1 stand, 4 wooden beginners bows with sights

Medium Club beginner scheme 2014 (closing date 21st March)
2 grants available
Objective: Increase beginners in a club by 40% (minimum 40 people)
Cost: 200 (which will be refunded on proof of success)
What you receive: 2 egertech/foam butt, 2 stands, 8 wooden beginners bows with sights

Junior archer beginner scheme (Closing Date 21st of March)
2 grants available
Objective: Allow clubs to take in younger archers on beginner courses.
Cost: 150
What you receive: 6 low poundage short bows, 3 sets of youth arrows.

Club bow rental scheme (closing date 21st of March)
2 grants available
Objective: increase the numbers of beginners joining the club after their course.
Cost: €200 (which will be covered in a short time by the bow rental)
What you receive: 4 intermediate bow kits. Including-case- sights and arrows.
directions: The bows will be available in your club to archers coming off a beginners course only, they will be available for a maximum of 6 months and will be rented at a cost of €10 per month.

Field archery incentive scheme (this scheme is limited to 2 clubs for 2014)
Objective: Increase the amount of clubs holding field competitions
Cost: €1200- to be confirmed (half the cost of 24 butts)
What you receive: 24 foam field butts (12 paid for by the Archery Ireland)
Directions: Archery Ireland will pay for half the targets involved to run a field competition. The receiving club will be required to run 2 field competitions for 3 years. One competition each year to be of arrowhead status. If the club fails to run thee competitions they will be required to return 12 of the targets to the association. Click Here
New Club Scheme (this scheme is limited to 3 clubs for 2014)
Objective: increase the number of clubs in the country
Cost: €500
Requirements: Club must have a minimum of 8 members and have filled all the positions on the club affiliation form. The club must be new and not a reformed old club.
What you receive: 3 egertech butts and stands. 8 beginners bows with sights. 36 club arrows. Click Here
